Know a guy that does container transfer in a yard we dump in. He said things were getting busy. Know the broker had sixty loads that I knew about this week to the yard.

I don't normally do that cause I have to run the old trailer and don't care to run the city. But old #####'s sometimes gotta take one for the team.

I ran Mickey Thompson's on it when I bought it. Have bf's now. They are 35's. I've ran bf's for over 35 years. Only thing I could find to get the grand national to hook up. Ran them on both supra's....have them on Mama's Audi.

That's interesting, my cutlass was great on firestone firehawlks. Bfg and coopers were like skies on the front. And smoke in the back.

I have the heavier sway bars....maybe that was the difference. One of the most fun cars to drive I've ever owned. I always felt like I knew exactly what it would do.

My buddy that used to own it would spin it around on a two lane at fifty and take off the other direction. Surprised we're both still alive.

In fairness I made alot of changes when I put the Firestones on back then. I had the heavy front and rear sway bars. Cutlass Salon. Ordered with everything same as 442 except heads, strips and exhaust. But I rebuilt the front end, put new moog springs all the way around and installed energy suspension bushings front and rear. That thing was a slot car. Just as you speak, last car I have driven and felt that I had that kind of control. I should work on it. Least mines inside. Only been outside once in last 19 years. When I moved it.

Mine's pretty much junk. Parked it in the mid nineties. Didn't really have anyplace to keep it but can't bring myself to scrap it. Not many '79 H/O's still around.

From a junkyard......that could be the problem....LOL I don't want to dump alot in it. Bought it for $4500, $500 to rebuild trans, $300 for a new radiator and fan hub. And the v-10 can't pass a gas pump !! So I'll live with the spongy steering !! Only gets drivin bout 200 miles a yr.
