By my estimation, looks like that’s what my trainer had plan. We plan to start practicing the backing up part of the skill test one day or two before the day of my test. Hopefully, at the TNT phase, I’ll get to dock, that must be a “must” for me to keep learnin’.

It absolutely is during TnT, dont suffer any trainer who wants you to give up the wheel when it comes to getting backing experience.

    Wow.
The guy's not even out of training yet and already the talk of leasing a truck?

TW19, how much experience do you actually have running your own business?
How much do you know about the cost of running and maintaining a truck?

Don't get sucked into a nearly no-win situation unless you know how to win before hand.

Passed my cdl test one time only. Was told to wait for a Flatbed trainer. Was told also that there were more than 10 people waiting in line. Now, I’m concerned how long is the wait? Having second thought of switching to reefer division so my psd trainer can continue training me on the tnt phase. Don’t like waiting that long.

Looking at the dates of your post we were at orientation the same time i think i know who this is...... I'll PM you.

I passed my CDL test December 13th and im still at home waiting for a flatbed trainer to pick me up. 3 weeks now. Spoke with him about a week and a half ago he finally has a load to my area and will be here Monday for sure.

On the plus side we get paid still.

If you get along with your PSD trainer and hes willing to do your TNT thats not a bad option. You could always do the "flatbed bootcamp" to run flatbed after or just stick with reefer if you love the noise.

Lol, who’s this dude? My trainer just called me right now. We’ll see if we get along. Never heard of boot camp from the company.

Got on the tnt phase but this trainer sucks! Wanting me to perform twice inspection daily: post and pre trip. I’ve only seen him inspect the truck once. Prime should eliminate trainer that does not know how to train! This is one reason why trainee quitting or leaving.

Learn those pre-trips and post trips. Don't be a lazy ### who lets little issues slip by on your truck.
