TMC publicly shaming its drivers.

I have been given a talking to that way a time or two in the State School. Publicly. In front of classmates.

Thats where I honed my combative edge and learned profanity to go with it in those days the more they yell, the more you dish it right back. Otherwise the classmates see you as weak, it is like a pack. A wolf pack so to speak in that situation.

One incident stands out more than usual I had a particular teacher who was a Battleaxe. Unfortunately I dealt with her at 8 and again later in the state high school again at 18. By then I was much more grown than the sniveling wet eyed crybaby in front of her at 8. The laughing still echoes today.

Why?

They pulled what we called a pop quiz or a major test. We had 20 minutes to go through 10 fractional math questions. And stressed the importance and made a very overlabored big freakiung deal about the stupid clock. No 50 minutes class time here. 20 only. and the grade was like 30% which we really didnt understand in those days.

I sit there working through each, 15 minutes later on the 4th fractional problem teacher tapped me and said I am too slow. Whats wrong with you?

I tore the test in half and told her to forget that.

The yelling started then. And that outburst essentially ended test time so the principal got involved. Cost me a hour of ironass on a hard oak bench. Which was a big deal in those days.

That day was a pivotal day in my development what I was before ended and I started evolving to what I am now.

Many years after leaving state school I paid a visit bobtail. Battleaxe was still teaching. She will outlive us all. Sort of like a mean onery bronc that refuses to be broken. She does not teach, but imposes order out of chaos with her 12 inch ruler and a room of fearful students hiding or sitting on hands so they don't get rapped.

Effectively imposing a culture of silence from deaf students in that room who uses hands to communicate for 50 minutes.

 

Half these guys out here need to be babysit

There is benifit in talking about WHY something went wrong and HOW to avoid or mitigate it in the future.

Nothing I have seen in this thread indicates TMC is humiliating drivers. What is happening is TMC is publicaly discussing its problems.

This really does not seem like the place for you. You age shamed someone, you argue with those who run the site about how it should be ran and you just seem generally unhappy with any of this. Just find somewhere that suits you.

 

Actually the age shaming was me! Except I clarified it wasn’t my intention. I would never age shame anyone. Besides, I am no youngster.
