I just interviewed with this outfit! They offered salary $1250 a week plus a bonus program. They no longer pay by the mile and the trucks are automatics. I am applying and I will keep you posted.

Well, 1250 a week is decent, but you’d be smart to keep track of the miles you drive and times that by at least .48 cpm. I mean, if they run your 70 out every week, you’re getting the shaft on $1250 a week.

I make at least that every week and I have, on average, 50 hours invested.

So is that $178 per day max at $65k per year max ? Meaning you have to stay out 365 days to get that $65k

Or is it just a guaranteed minimum?

.....because I'm here to tell you that Great Plains , like their sister company down the road ,has some very long runs so they're going to work you hard for that $178 per day

Hopefully they don't turn into K&B working you like a slave to make 60k a year. Stop chasing miles and start chasing pay.

Well I am told the average run is 1000 plus miles and top drivers cover 13,000 plus miles and get the $1000 a month bonus. Plus home time is paid. I am tired of running per mile and losing pay at docks and down time. Lets see how it goes!

Bumper, Aamcotrans and bzinger Thank this.

3 weeks out with 3 paid days off or one day off for every 7 out and can bank hometime.

    bzinger Thanks this.
