Hey i have a quick question. I'm not sure if it belongs here or not but I noticed my power steering fluid levels are just under the minimum line and was wondering what kind of fluid is best. I went to auto zone and the first ones that popped up were ATF+4 fluids and the only power steering one +4 was at the bottom of the list. The owner's manual states Mopar ATF+4 or Mopar Powersteering fluid +4. So, which one is best to go with or is it just a coin toss? And does it matter if it's not Mopar? I have no idea what's in it, ATF or powersteering.

    Anyway, thanks for the info!

Mopar used to use ATF+4 as factory fill. Funny right, you can use tranny fluid in the power steering, but can't use power steering fluid in the tranny..

What color is your PS fluid now.? If its red, top off with the ATF+4. If it's clear, yellowish, use the PS+4. Really either one won't hurt it, but that way you are matching the factory fill..

Edit. No don't matter if it's Mopar. As long as it's +4 it's compatible..
