After his response I now believe this is total BS
I've been in a bunch of different career fields and for whatever reason , truckers lie the most in my experience... and they're just stupid unnecessary liesD.Tibbitt, Just passing by, Crude Truckin' and 2 others Thank this. -

As previously stated, I was extremely fortunate to get hired on where I'm at. I was very close to working for a mega right out of trucking school and off my mentors truckers a few years ago, but because I told my driver leader at the time to kick rocks because he was angry with me not wanting to run reefer, I went elswhere the moment I got word of another company would hire me on.
116k obviously wasn't my starting pay. I was a brand new driver with no experience. My starting pay was 79k not including quarterly bonuses of $1500.
The more years I got under my belt, the more my pay and quarterly bonuses went up.
I am 25 years old with no wife, no children, no debt and a HELL of a lot of money saved up. While I enjoy working where I do, I understand that this is a business and was just seeking advice on what I should do.
