Pay for that account is advertised as 81k/year and I'm on track so far for 72k. If you move to mankato or surrounding area can be home daily if not every few days if you manage to make it back to the dc before your clock runs out. If not it acts like a regular otr run, 1 day per 6 days out so when ready you just put your request in and they will get you a load(s) back home and back.

I miss the middlesex diner, great food, good portions, and the waitresses used to be pretty easy on the eyes. Unfortunately I don’t get through Carlisle anymore.

Day 3 of Orientation At Crete
We got everyone loaded into the vans, headed to the terminal and unloaded all of out stuff. Some drivers just came off of another truck from their old company so they had a lot. Stored it under lock n key and started our day.
We covered Benefits & 401k. The head of recruiting came in and talked with us for a while. Then onto trip planning. 3 different routes using their fuel solutions program. Each route was increasingly difficult. We took turns in groups to go out to the yard and go through a pre-trip, the esbar heater and the opti idle.
We also went through a 1 on 1 with the head of orientation. At this time we found out that the Follicle tests had been delayed due to them not being picked up on time by a well known door to door carrier.. LOL
Soooo another night in the hotel. We did get word that they were received and drivers were becoming hired as we left the terminal.
So today we go back and finish up this morning and find out if our trucks are here or we have to go hunting for them. -
So my question is does Crete force the drivers to use their chosen fuel stops 30 miles out of route while still paying only rand McNally miles for loads? I've heard that some companies actually do this.

Crete uses practical miles so you get more of the total miles driven. You can fuel up anywhere the card works BUT it dings you for out of route fueling which effects your score card. We primarily use loves but they have had me go to TA/petros and on this dedicated kwik stops are the place we fuel.
Now then I got a funny ad on another website I on that made me lol. Half the fleet does not make 81k a year...heck I did otr for 6 month and my average gross was 1100/wk while this dedicated avg is 1400/wk. Maybe my dispatcher was not getting me those gravy runs!
