Got a truck in the shop right now where the rear suspension wont air up. Mechanic b4 me replaced the switch pack solenoid on the frame rail re pinned the plug on the body control module. I've cleaned the grounds on the firewall found a ground that wasnt connected on the starter, connected it still have the same issue. Air horn is not working and all the codes I'm getting is off the one plug on the body control module. I've ran a line straight from the air tank to the leveling valve which is new and it aired up fine. After I did that I reconnected it right and it aired up completely then dumped and wont air up agian

Sorry to dig this back up, but can anyone confirm that this actually worked? I have an air release kingpin and no dump valve and want to ensure this would work before I go buying parts to just add it.

You would need a leveling valve that has a dump input port.

Hello Heavy, just wanted to say thanks for all the support and knowledge sharing.. I just bought that solenoid today because of a blinking dump light.. I see that they are two separate solenoids that’s connected with a plastic fitting.. Which one should I replace in order to stop the light from blinking?

At key on, in the run position, the body controller will energize the "A" solenoid which should be the one on the left when you are looking directly at it. Now, the blinking light doesn't not automatically mean the solenoid is bad. It just means the body controller is detecting a circuit problem of either and open or short circuit. If you do replace the solenoid, make sure you replace it with the right part number. Suspension dump solenoids have a slightly different resistance value of the other ones.

I had the same problem. Make sure the T air line connector between the two solenoids is facing down. Drove me nuts for awhile.
