Glad I was just a weekend/evening wrench puller and not the owner. Firing that turbo 6 the first time and finding 4 reverse was a hoot(now). The work to adapt the bolt pattern and the clutch was a pizzoff then
The Karman Ghia was twice the body strength and lighter too.

 

And maybe a little.....no scratch that....ALOT of burbon.

 

Actually coffee. Seriously, I suffered from serious sinus infections annually for years. So bad that it would put me down for a week. Then I found a sort of old school cure.

3 times a day, eat a hot, spicy meal, one cup of strong black coffee, then a shower as hot as can be stood. About a day and it's gone.

But any excuse for bourbon is good.

 

Back at the home two-oh for a long weekend. Won't head back out until Monday I'm thinking.

We haven't talked boots in a couple weeks have we ? Ordered me a pair of Cuero "The Eastwood" today..

Heard these are real comfy.....shall see

Went out to the picnic tables here for a smoke. There's a eastern European guy, a Chinese guy, and a middle eastern guy all engaged in some in depth conversation. Get the feeling I'm watching a "walk into a bar" joke.
