If you are at Loves and backing into a parking space and scrap the truck next to you, will thatvreport on your driving record. A police report was made just to have on file, but no citation was issued.

I'm just guessing, but if no citation, probably won't be on driving record. I wouldn't report it on a job application. Your current company will find out if the other company files insurance claim.

    Yaya1974 Thanks this.

That’s what I was told by my safety department tonight. Hopefully it’s true

Probably will be in your file at your company, but not on your DMV. And I am, like another poster, surprised that the police even bothered since it was on private property. Companies like to have every little incident on record just in case there is any legal repercussions in the future.

For 9 years I drove for Trailways and you talk about reporting every little thing. Even if a bag that was stored overhead fell out and hit someone on the head, we had to fill out an accident form. It was unbelievable in one sense, but when it is looked at from a company's position and our lawsuit happy public, then it makes sense.
