I won't use ANYTHING Microsoft. Most computer gurus won't.

I use NOD32 for antivirus and for spyware am currently using Spybot search and destroy but I don't need it on my own computers. I use CC Cleaner frequently and run NOD32 constantly and that's all I need.

If you have a router, you don't often need as much as the router has a hardwall firewall built into it.

I use the same programs on all my computers, laptop and desktops.

The best anti-virus software is the brown matter between your ears.

Only if you're computer literate and an advanced user. For the general "john doe", it's not enough. Been there. Done that. Not everyone "gets it" as easily as some of us do when it comes to computers.
