The OutBack Bracket and 27' of coax works great. Just run the coax from the antenna, under the cab on the drivers side, and through the firewall just in front of where the pedals are.

I have two t2000's in the family. One has the "out back" bracket and one does not. One has a good clear radio and one does not. I'll let try to figure out which is which...

    And the 587 aint?

I rather have one of those than a W9/379-89.

    More room!

You ever seen the inside of a T600/660 or WL900 with a studio 86" sleeper? More room than a 387/587 and a more solidly built cab/doors that will last forever. 387/587 are hastily built "fleet" trucks. The doors are cheaply engineered and will be popping and creaking after about 100k miles eventually theyll get sprung. The hood will eventually start shaking and rattling. The interior has more squeaks and rattles brand new than a 5 year old century class with 500k miles...

i would like to officially state that kenworth sucks. They have lost their passion for designing trucks and their marketing department are idiots.

The "styling department" has no imagination whatsoever and could not do any better than a 3rd grade art class.

    Screw them.

And don't give me any bull's hit about oh it's because of the aerodynamics. peterbilt has proven many times (not with their recent atrocities though) that you can have decent styling WITH excellent aerodynamics.

p.s. i would be ashamed to be a salesperson for kenworst.

One of the nice things about the 18-wheeler section is that it's all about members helping each other. Please don't start fights and ruin it with pointless brand-bashing.

    black_dog106 Thanks this.

kenworst deserves everything they get from me. They stink. They're losers. Maybe the only way they'll change is if someone tells them the truth about how bad they are.

Not trying to start a fight; i'm telling the truth.

Could say that about a few members here also.

T2000/700 are both freightliner wannabes :biggrin_25523: I'll keep my older T600 with it's solid cab and interior that's FASTENED DOWN very well. No rattletraps for me thank you.
