I'm a company driver and I've called up 6 times, left 1 voice message, and sent 4 messages over the past 45 minutes and I still haven't received a response. This is becoming increasingly more common at my company and I was wondering if others are having a similar experience.

Edit: I just want to know what trailer I'm supposed to pick up at this yard! They didn't include it on my Load Assignment.

i guess you are new at this..

you see, we as drivers are not important to a dispatcher, until HE/SHE CALLS us and we had better answer ASAP...!!!!!

we are whale snot to them.....

    get used to it.

you will live long and prosper

I've been doing this for a year and a half, but it's never been this bad before.

If you name the company somebody might be able to give you some specific advice.

If it's a loaded trailer and there is a stack of bols, look through until you find one that matches your work assignment.

If all you need is an Mt, find one and take it.

If it's a relayed load, walk the lot and look at the bol in the nose box

Call his boss...Op's managers hate talking to drivers worse than dispatchers do...

We are trying out a new dispatch company, touting itself to be the biggest in the industry. Our dispatcher's name is a famous female actress.

We have received 3 pretty good loads, but ALL the brokers have called us complaining they can't understand the lady (very heavy foreign accent), she doesn't know answers to questions.

The brokers all talked to my office who answered their questions the dispatcher SHOULD have been able to answer.

How can someone so bad be getting loads for us that are so good--better than our other dispatcher. We noticed that all loads were really urgent - brokers desperate to get the load out.

    Any thoughts on this?
