Im not really worried about passing a physical but, I broke my foot the other day and expect to be sidelined for a few months. My physical is due at the end of the year. I can't remember, will I be ok going to take the test on crutches or maybe even a wheel chair??

They have you bend over and reach down and what not. They also push on your muscles.

You might be on hold. MIGHT

So how do these guys with handicap signs in their truck that can barely walk get one?

It is funny to see handi-cap license plates on Class 8 trucks as well as motorcycles, How can you do the duck walk if you need crutches to walk ? Chaining and tarping a flatbed if in a wheel chair ? I'd love to see that !

Every 2 years. They've done that. Along with different other things that changes each time.

I don't think you're talking about the same "bend over".. Checking range of motion is what the test usually does.. if your getting your prostate checked during a DOT physical.. I think your doctor may be a little off

If you come in on crutches or a wheel chair, you're probably not going to pass. There are some conditional maladies that can be conditional and given a conditional card to operate.. but you then have to go back and show that whatever malady is now no longer an issue. If you are really broken, you need to sit until you aren't and then go get a regular DOT and go back to work
