why not? it wasn't designed with specifications as to what it could and couldn't run in.

I did not know if your truck had to have a computer in it in order for these things to do what they do.I have no experience with these, never owned one but am thinking about putting one in my 93 international mechanical truck

:biggrin_25521:Can't believe this , is even funnier then the clutch on the floor thread.

In case this is serious and I hope not.
You can use a GPS while walking , on a bicycle , crawling on all fours or in any truck as it is an independent device.
Kind of like a tooth brush.

    Strange question.
As long as you have a way to power it (lighter plug) don't see why it wouldn't work.

whatever device you decide to go with it. comes with a gps chip already built in. and their own brain.

no plugging into anything other then electrical power in the form of 12 volts. think, cigarette socket.

If your phone works in your truck, a GPS will. Just don't buy a Rand McNally brand. It seems they rely on the customers to provide the iformation to update the maps.

Just please don't tell us why you're on all fours and this will be ok.
