I passed the hazmat test but they told me that it's only good in florida where I live. If I moveto a different state I will have to retake the test again unless I drive with myFlorida license. True?
If you had the background check that should be good anywhwre but many states require taking the written test when transferring a CDL
When I moved to CO from TX, I had just renewed my TX CDL with hazmat. When I switched to CO CDL, I was told that I would have to go through the background check all over again if I wanted to keep Hazmat. I even had my clearance letter from TSA less than 30 days old, No go, what a racket.
That yellow Mack in your avatar looks just like the one's from KY that serve a customer of mine. Do you happen to know Dorris whom drives a day cab interplant at Ashland?
It is from KY . We have terminals in Owensboro and Calvert City . I'm based out of Owensboro and Calver City has the Ashland runs . I have done a few runs for Calvert City though and I do know Dorris . You don't know Squirrel , do you ?
No sure don't. Might know of him and not know who he is.......... the Q.C. guys load in a different place than I do and Dorris usually pre-loads for the road guys. Should be more business for you folks. Ashland is fixing to pour some mega bucks into the plant expanding it...... Come see us sometime. I'm usually in there 2 or 3 times a week.
i was wonder to about hazmat to...so if your going to a company school and they want you to get your permit first should you get hazmat if your not in the same state as company school?
