    Right. And making things worse is that a couple guys will start up a conversation that has nothing to do with Mercer. That thread could probably be cut down to a few hundred pages if all the off topic stuff was cut out. Good luck on your application process.

    I won't be ready to make the move for another 6 months or so. Can't wait though!

    It took me about 5 to have a trailer ready for me. If you own your own truck it goes quickly. They approved me in three weeks.

    Oh ok . I think the only do lease purchase on the trailer. And I'm will be bring my own truck . I'm waiting for my approval before I buy the truck. I put my app with landstar too so whoever call me fisrt that's where I will be heading

    If you go to Mercer get a flat or maybe a step, not a van. I pay 535 a month on my flat with them. In 28ish months I'll own it

    that's what I will do flat maybe in the future I will looK on the step deck. But I wanna start low then go up . No van for me . Im tirdd of that reefer noise on my back

    Just go back to the beginning of 2014 & read the thread from there. Yes there is off topic stuff but what you learn from that part is the comradery (sp) these guys have. It gave me the feeling of a bunch of drivers sitting around shooting the bull. I did read the whole thing on my smartphone & it took a few weeks & it was worth every minute. When I finally called the recruiter we spent the majority of the time talking about college football because I didn't have many questions. Good luck with which ever way you go.
