Hello, I'm from New Zealand and am looking at starting my heavy vehicle training. After gaining my HVL (heavy vehicle license) i intend to work for a 2 years in Western Australia either in long haul freight or mine cartage. My questions is what training would I have to do to work in the USA, to what extent would foreign experience be counted and what would be a reasonable expectation for pay be?
Overseas experience?
