Whats a clutch ? the only thing a clutch is good for is stopping and taking off.no green light either
This is totally baffling. A light telling you when to shift? He mentioned not being able to go faster once the light comes on. I wonder what happens when the little light or sensor malfunctions? I can't think of a more useless idea to add to a truck.......wow.
Green shift light ? Never heard of such an animal. That is one reason SOME of these new drivers are worthless. They cannot think for themselves. They have been taught to rely on someone, or something , to tell them what to do,and how to think, all their life. As far as shifting, it will come to you.Takes practice, and more practice. Often new hands are trying too hard to shift, and it has to be done as the transmission wants it done, no forcing into gear. Relax a little, and keep trying. Green light tells you when to shift ? What will they think of next ?
How long til they put sensors near the tandems to tell the driver when he is clear to make a turn? "Turn wheel 37 degrees to the left.............Recalculating...."
