I know a little about the company but not from the eyes of a driver. From what I have seen in visits to them, they appear to be a profitable well run company. Nice well maintained equipment. I do know that the owner isn't afraid to get in a truck to pick up or deliver a load when he's need to. How many owners or presidents of a company would do that? Not a lot of information. Call them and talk to their recruiter.

I've worked for Sitton Motor Lines out of Joplin,Mo. I have nothing but praise to say about my time with them. Absolute respect from top to bottom! It's a company where they know each driver by name & go out of there way to accommodate you. I had to leave because personal reasons forced me to go local. It was like leaving my extended family. They hired me with less than a year of experience and started me at .36cpm base & 2 cents more for keeping my idle time down. Great Great Company!

I drove for SML for three years. I had to leave for family matters. I left last year in March. Unfortunately they did some restructuring while I was out and now I am no longer in their hiring area. (if I was, I would be back driving for them in a second) This is a company that actually appreciates their drivers. They will treat your fair, they are honest and will show you the respect you deserve. (provided you do your job and treat them in the same regard.) Their equipment was excellent and very well maintained. Never had a problem with them in any manner. I too also feel like I left a part of my family when I had to leave there. They were a great pleasure to work with and for. (just don't get in any hurry since the trucks only go 64mph.)
Overall they are one of the best companies out there.
