i got a freightliner, century class, cummins, eaton 10 speed transmission and smartshift(it shifts automatically). the problem is when truck is hot and i am in neutral it is really hard to get into gear (any gear including reverse), however, if truck is cold getting in gear is no problem at all! clutch is good and has been adjusted, so i figure it got to be some kind of hydraulic pump's gasket leak. any advise? txs:biggrin_25518:

Clutch may be adjusted, but there is still a clutch brake involved in the system and it has to be adjusted correctly. I am not sure if that is being done mechanically with a standard type of clutch brake, or with a fluid connection type in the trans. If it's a smartshift type, it's probably still under warranty, so I would take it to the shop and have them check it out. Eaton and Meritor have been pretty good standing behind their products in that regard.
