To be honest, I can count the times on one hand that I've ever alley docked. Alley dock requires a 90 degree angle. I always back at 45. It leaves more room on the blind side when in a tight area. Now regardless of whether you back at 90 or 45, you turn the wheel according to what your trailer is doing. You must resist the urge to oversteer

IF you are in a state that requires the alley dock then your school instructor should have already shown you the basics of doing this AND I still recommend going to youtube! -
