Trucks and trailers are safe to operate with inoperative ABS. But get the problem fixed ASAP.

Had the same thing happen many times. Pull the light cord ... shut down the engine ... wait 2 or 3 minutes ... restart the engine ... plug light cord back in ... ABS light will still be on ... pull forward about 100 yards and light will go out.

Thank you everyone. I tried the suggestions but nothing worked. They ended up bobtailing me from Salinas to French Camp for repairs. It only took about 20 minutes b before they said the light was off. They wouldn't say what was wrong just answered "It's too complicated. " when I asked. They also replaced the accelerator to see if they could finally fix my jake brake issue. It's only the 5th time is been worked on. They also looked at my oil leak issue and said "it's just an overflow tube that expells the excess used oil."...... :biggrin_25513:

I asked about the next service and how to tell it was time. They showed me the card and told me the miles it was supposed to be between each service it said I was majorly overdue. They said "must have been done and someone forgot to write it down. " I sent in a message saying the truck was done in the shop, due for tabs, and asked when the next service was due. I heard nothing until the shop guy came and did it was time so it's back on the shop again.
