Class b dump trucks with trailers?

    Would a medium sized single axle dump truck about 33k gvw and a tag along pintle hitch trailer be a class b setup or would it reguire a class a?

    Nope. Thats a class A set up. Anything over 26k. Is class A

    A one ton with a heavy enough trailer can require a class A, class b is for single units only

    Not quite, if the trailer is less than 10K, it would be a Class B.

    I suspect his trailer will be over 10K though, which would take him down the center column to Class A.

    You can also have a 26K truck pulling a 10K trailer and not need a CDL.
