Hey Guys my name is Cody and I'm BRAND new to the forums. I have been studying for a bit to take my CDL exam. I have gone over a lot of the practice tests that are on this site and others but am wondering if there is a more convenient way to study. I have seen a number of sites offering paid flashcard software. Just wanted to check in with the community to see if it is worth it or if anyone has explored these avenues. My friend is also starting up a company that offers AUDIO practice tests and has offered to make me a CDL one (for a price of course)

What are your guys thoughts/and or experiences with this. Any answers are greatly appreciated. THANK YOU!

There should be no reason to pay for study material. Every state's DOT has a downloadable version of their CDL manual. Just click on your state and download the manual. And you can still, I believe, also go to your local driver license office and pick up the hard manual.

Just read the necessary chapter if you're going just for your class A all you need to read is knowledge, combination and air brake... Do a lot of practice test, I took my all tests (hazmat, tanker, double/triple) about a month in 2 days and they are not that hard

    gpsman Thanks this.
