I see that Mississippi has some of the lowest insurance rates for O/O's in the country. That combined with being near Memphis would make it attractive. Just looking for opinions on that. I used to live in Oxford MS which is a nice place.

Hopefully they pay out when you need them. Everything is cheap in MS since there is nothing there but overgrown grass and dirt. Oxford probably provides income for the entire state due to that university.
86scotty Thanks this. -

Hi Dennis. I read it in an article that was published in a financial publication. I believe it was Forbes. Anyway It mentioned MS and a few other states like Indiana as well. IT also mentioned that a lot of O/Os would set up an address in either Nebraska or Delaware to take advantage of insurance rates in those states without actually having to live there. But to my knowledge those states have been bearing down on that. If I were you I would let my fingers do the walking and do my research. Drive safe.

Lots and lots of Memphis suburbs in north MS. The rates may be more closer to the murder capital of the world but maybe not. Plenty of good, steady cheap freight out of Memphis loaded and unloaded by only the finest slow docks. Enjoy!
