Looking to get CDL and Start driving NW Arkansas

Too bad you’re not in the Central part of the state. A lot of good companies and pretty much any kind of driving you want to do.

I imagine Tyson is up your way, but no idea how they are to drive for.

Old Dominion Freight Line in Ft. Smith hires new cdl school grads from approved schools.
Some terminals also have a dock to driver program to help acquire a cdl. This program you're being paid while you learn.

 

Drivers have reported recently that Tyson is again hiring new cdl school grads.

Republic Services
Need cdl-a or cdl-a Permit
Driver trainee program.

• Successfully complete Republic Services’ CDL training program, which includes classroom study, on-route training, driving experience, and resources (including the loan of a truck) necessary to take and pass the state CDL examination.
• Complete twelve (12) full months of employment with Republic Services after obtaining a CDL.
