There are several ways around Chicago if it is heavy traffic. About the only place you cannot avoid is the south side of Lake Michigan but even then you are usually through it within the hour. If you need to stop in Chicago, that is a whole other story

Hey guys just to give y’all a heads up if you haven’t used your iD badge at a door or anything at any terminal no matter if your still employed Magnums IT deactivates it after a 2-3 month time period. Been with this company 3 years and never knew about this till last weekend in CR when it wouldn’t work. Come to find out they simply just assume you aren’t working with the company any longer instead of actually typing in your name and driver id or going through a roster of who’s gone and or has been terminated.

Have mentioned to Matt Gadberry that probably not the smartest thing especially since I had to bobtail to the Kwik Trip down the street just to use the bathroom. So if you run into this issue you will need to send an email to your DM with a picture of the BACK of your ID. You’ll see a bunch of numbers on the bottom....that’s what IT needs.....or you can send a message to Chad Or Matt explaining that having a policy like this alienates you and or us as drivers because if we come during normal business hours the doors are just unlocked so you don’t need to scan them.

Also this prevents us and or you from accessing the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room etc.

I just got hired with them so far so good the only thing I hate is the coon rapids shop. I needed to get my steering wheel realigned they didn’t want to do it because it’s to hard. And got stuck there one weekend because I needed some work get in Saturday they said they’ll get me today but at 430 they just leave without telling me so I sit Monday rolls around I ask them then I got told they won’t get me till Tuesday. But so far that’s been the only negative I’m hoping Fargo shop is better I’m never going to Coon rapids shop ever again lol.

I run P&D out of Coon Rapids - it's a known quantity that the shop sucks. It's probably my biggest complaint about working here.

Idk why everyone loves petes my whole month here I've been broke down with something. I miss my 2020 frireghtliner . Oh well hopefully this will be the last time for a while. I need to keep running lol. But overall still happy I joined the company. My DM is really cool and always get back with me within an hour or so if I have questions.

Nope. Not unless we get something special and a customer is desperate and we end up charging a crap ton to take it there and dead head out of the state to get back to our freight lane

Skyline, do you drive for them now? Just curious where most of the lanes they run are these days, I drove on the oilfield in Nd for the last 8 years, and would like to avoid the winter weather as much as possible.

For the most part we run back and forth to MN and ND to the southeast, PNW, Texas, Ohio, NC, PA and Jersey. Outbound loads from ND and MN are not forced you choose of what’s available

I've been here for a little over 3 months got hired in October. So far I'm loving it. For the most part dispatch is really good. Just don't get any work done in the coon rapids shop. Always try to shoot for fargo. Even then the the guys that are night are awesome

    JForce28 and Winnyf1 Thank this.
