MX13 EPA 13 forced REGEN help

Apu konked this morning so Ive had to idle all day. Ive now got the 10 minute forced regen light on. I hold the regen button down to start the process and it does start but only brings the RPMs up to 1100. What can I do to get this thing it REGEN? Thanks in advance, Reefer
