Yup, Investment Bankers now own Arnold. From a family run company it's now just a name, and the name means nothing any more. The bankers are doing what they do best-- cutting costs and getting as much $$$ as possible in the shortest period of time. There doesn't seem to be any investment in the future of this company; on the other hand shop hours are being cut back, parts are not being stocked, and trailers are being sold. The future does not look bright and that's an understatement.

 

I've been with the company a couple weeks now. I have ran ONE load due to a bad truck. I've had 2 bad trucks, 2 bad trailers so far and that's all the equipment I've gotten to use. On the one load I ran, I was given the wrong p/u#. Was on hold 45 minutes for dispatch, but never got an answer. Sent a message asking for p/u # starting with 007 or 300 and received a voice mail saying there was no such # listed. Day dispatch hold time on the phone averages 10-15 minutes. Night/weekend phone hold times exceed 40 minutes to an hour and then they can't seem to help. I'm seriously thinking about calling another company, telling them where I am and to send a bus ticket for the next orientation. I don't have a truck assigned to so there really isn't anything stopping me.
