If you go to CA. Do an intrastate load. Usually it's to skip to a better area to get another load back out.
CA requires an intrastate permit.
$4000 fine if caught.
Only in CA. I ain't never heard of this anywhere else. Always considered interstate to be above intrastate. Could do anything intrastate as a interstate company and driver.
Only in California, intrastate permit required to haul in state load.

That’s not CA that’s every state if you run apportioned plates. We’ve been caught doing it once (to be fair we never really do it) and it was a warning no fine on the scale on I-5.

That is a big fine. Not only in CA.
I had 3 intrastate authorities to cover such loads. Some states you have to renew the authority each year. Others are register once for life. -
Some states all you need is the mc authority.
