If you like hauling Cheap Freight R & M is the place for you. They are in bed with Tyson and Nebraska Furniture Mart. They say no forced dispatch? Think again! If you like waiting upwards to 32 hours to get a Tyson load R & M is for you.

What company doesn't have cheap freight? There are guys who have been with R/M for 20 years, and they make a good living.
What reefer company is not in bed with Tyson, and or NFM? And yes, they do give you a choice of loads, if they can, sometimes, depending on the area you are in, choice of loads is not an option, you take what you can get to move out of the area, and all meat haulers know that there are times, very few thank god, that you will have to wait a while for that load of meat, but it doesn't happen very often. -
EasyB....lmao. Wonder which one in the R&M office that is?
ATTN: ALL DRIVERS....
Just about all the responses defending R&M here on this forum is a member of R&M in the office. I know this because I was routed to the terminal after my complaint I posted here 2 years ago or so..... and was told they seen my post.....lol
Either way, what I can say is..... They do give you a chance..... But as soon as they give you that chance they give you a p.o.s truck, run you on runs that are not worth more than paying your fuel, or make you sit if you decline a load because it is cheap freight.
They guys that have been there 20 years OWN the truck that they drive. They are not leasing the equipment. I jumped ship after 2 months when I brought home only 3 paychecks and the rest were negative. and not good paychecks either.
My other personal friend, tried his hardest to stick it out with them... always telling me they were good guys but he was always broke and asking for short loans from me because he already had 3 advances taken out.
oh, and R&M , he is doing great now with his own truck by the way....lol
Been awhile since I have been on here... not out to get R&M just came across it.....
I would say as a driver... do not go to R&M.... if your an Owner op? hmmm,,, I bet others pay better also....lol -
I sat 20 hours waiting on a crap rate meat load to get me home for thanksgiving from these boys lol . Brokered though as I was at A and A at the time

In that dirt lot in Schuyler

Yeah, they got so sick of me asking what the load rate was when they called me for a load they started telling everyone they could not give rates anymore....lol They owed me pay for 3 previous loads, needed an advance and they told me sorry cant, your negative. I pulled over dropped the trailer and told them you want this load to get to point B I need an advance for food.... I got it.
The are crooks big time... will try really hard to manipulate your head to.. Try to be your friend, run this and I will help you out.. even the owner....lol offering to pay for an overhead on my truck after they seen the pos they gave me only got 4.2.... find a better company driver... its for sure not R&M....
I can say that while leasing at KLLM if I didnt mind staying out 3 weeks I made great money..... if your leasing, you obviously wanna own a truck, there a a few companies that are okay doing it, but not where your at now. -
Lol @not giving out the rate . At least at A and A they told me how little I was going to make up front . Produce out of Cali made up for , it at least in the first year then they started giving me all the lowest paying picks like to Hy Vee. Favoring the company rides for the highest paying customers . I think R and M is a Road Runner company , too

McMullen bros used to be involved with them and probably still are , both scumbag outfits .

I leased with R&M for a year and yes the Tyson and Cargill loads sucked! But i did very well with them. Only stopped to be local. But they were very good to me. I was thinking about going back to them but am in the process of buying a truck outright and starting my own company, with some family and friends that know the brokerage game. So hopefully i can do good!!
