Reefer lots and lots of dock time. Wait wait .
Flatbed pull in load or unload. If need to wait , get paid for it. Just remember rain, sleet, snow or hail we load or unload. So pick your poisonFuelinmyveins Thanks this. -
If you're in the hiring area, Transport National has a good reputation and some drivers are making $1500 weekly or more.
How long have you been driving?
Where is your location? -
I made good money doing both .. Yeah you'll wait longer on reefer loads on average but then it's put on your load locks double check reefer and head out.and usually longer runs...flatbeds are get load on , secure load , tarp load no matter the weather..I've had my beard freeze in Nebraska and my boot soles melt in Texas but I loved it...choose your poison..I ran reefers on percentage and made more money but liked flats better...crazy huh ?
Fuelinmyveins Thanks this. -
Flat out Flatbed!!!! I have never had anyone get pissed because my noisy flatbed kept them awake...or had a flatbed load get refused because the product wasn't the right temp.
Money wise, flatbed again. I will gross $75k+ this year with ease...never got close to that with a reefer.Fuelinmyveins Thanks this. -
You can get close to six figures with the right steel hauling company, plus its easier to keep something dry in a covered wagon, in my opinion....
