I have found very difficult to get repairs done without a long wait to get in. Took my truck to the dealership on Thursday the 9th. They just called to say they will look at it on Monday the 13th. Last time I had it in shop about a month ago 10 days until I got it out. Before that another garage took 8 Days . It was easier to get things done in 2020 IMO . I hope you guys having better luck with repairs.

Best solution is apointments at least 2 to 3 weeks out whenever posible. I always pre schedule my maintaince. Wont always work but i scheduled my truck for a diff seal, overhead and oil chance and they had it for 1 day.
If you have a breakdown they are trying to fit you in with other breakdowns and locals who preschedule things and it takes much longer.Lite bug Thanks this. -
Yeah that's pretty much the way it is. I waited the better part of a week to get my own uncle to do injector cups on my truck last year. I'd hate to think about dealing with dealers.

I've shifted my thinking into just assuming a 4-6 week wait for anything and everything and if its sooner, bonus. Just getting parts is a chore in itself. Best stock up on stuff you use regularly and learn how to fix things yourself. You'll go broke waiting a week just to get in the shop door each time.
Rideandrepair, Lite bug and Rubber duck kw Thank this.
