RIP Driver

Appreared to have gone out doing exactly what he ever wanted to do in life.

My prayers go out to the young witnesses of this problem on the corner. I think we will never know if he picked the post to stop the truck with in the time he had very little and even less of which to work with as his useful consiouness abandoned him at a frightful rate. Either classic widow Maker MI, DVT that is truly massive, PE, anureysum of either brain, gut or arotic. (Instant world class Trauma Surgeon with nothing but the very best instantly available would have saved anyone. (It wouldn't) I comfort by thinking the driver did not suffer mucn for too long. Even if he did, he knew he was gone. I think to be presented with that at 60 mph or whatever is a horrible way to go. Once you are out it matters not anymore to you what happens to all the people and kids around you.

 

Second driver that has died in something similar. Ok the other one happened some time ago (10 years maybe). Driver was taking his ten and had a heart attack. Thankfully they were stationary. Seems like the driver above wasnt paying attention to their health. RIP driver.

I saw that truck down in Jefferson, IN a few years ago where the driver died in truck on northbound i 65.
As I learned later.

Stress is a major factor for all illness.
Ask yourself if your paid enough in this industry for the stresses it provides? Odds are not really.

Yup trucking is good for your health when you are nothing more than a commodity. To the corporate bean counting machine.

 

I try not to stress anymore. Live and let live is my motto. Why waste time stressing about the #### you have no control over. I used to have major anxiety/insomnia from the anxiety but learned to manage it w/o taking meds. Lifting weights and running greatly helped
