in January and February we had a hard time keeping our bulk tank full,

we had to get loads from vendors we never had gotten LP from before,

and the cost of our LP to our customers went up,

the price has went down since, the delivery season after this month is over.

Exactly what tndriver said. From late December to the last week in February we averaged 100+hrs a week. We slept when we got tired and ran as much as we could the rest of the time. It was a lot of fun and the money was great.

I use to see this truck all the time during the propane shortage of late 2013 into 14. But he only hauled Butane. I'm not sure where he's at now some said he's out of biz. I wonder if all the chrome had anything to do with that???

A former LP Trans., Inc. driver up in Claremont, NH has it now. Still hauling propane with it. You can rest assured it doesn't look the same as it once did.

HOS gets lifted here in Florida for tankers all the time after hurricanes, and even a few days before. God I feel for those Kenan and eagle drivers.

the other week, a wind storm knocked power out,

and last week a ton of snow fell at once knocking power out again,

the week before, and this past week, all I have been doing is filling up generator powered LP tanks,

people were without power for almost a week.

no one freaked out, and no one ran out of gas..... but close.....

Ya, it's a joke isn't it. Seems like after 911, we lost many freedoms.

I moved to Southern California about 4 years ago, I F...king hate this place. Don't get me wrong, CA is beautiful, but I can't deal with the politics here. We have more refineries here than just about anywhere, yet we are about the 3rd highest gas prices in the US. $3.50 a gal today for unleaded (Apr 3rd 2018)
We have a progressive income tax that punishes people who work hard. As Rush L - use to say, "If you punish hard work, you destroy American Exceptionalism" I could write a book about how stupid some of the laws are in CA. Yet, the majority of people in this state don't get angry about being bent over by their government. And if you say ANYTHING bad about California, people here are personalty offended. People are not united in CA (By the people, for the people). The schools don't teach US history about our founding fathers, it's all liberalism BS. The Republic of A$sholes who want to form their own independent republic. Try that over in Iran, lets see how the republic works over there. These republic hats are stacked to the ceiling in every gas station out here. I walked into a gas station today and asked the sales clerk, "where are the hats and tee shirts with the USA flags?" Not a one.
    Bear Flag Revolt - Facts & Summary - HISTORY.com

The fascists in Sacramento pass laws without citizen votes. But very few seem to care about these things in CA. I can't stand most of the people here.
This hat says, We don't like America, we want to be an independent republic" And I say to those who wear it for that reason, Go try that in Iran, or North K. America is the exception to freedom, but people don't get it.
To be fair, many of the old native CA residents who are in their 60's and up are actually very conservative, informed, and use their brains. But this younger generation, the smart phone gen who can't hold a conversation really worries me. I had a retired cop tell me the other day that these younger cops are getting shot because they have no personality and can't read people. Makes sense.
