So how bad was 2019?

Why?? Maintenance is not just picking on you evclusively- We all have it

 

2018 was one of My worst year in trucking. 2019 was way better for me because I bought a different truck.

My truck was in shop for 90+ days from June to September 2018 for Emission, Head Gasket, Turbo, Radiator and entire cooliant system....... other issues.

Rates were the highest during 2nd and 3rd quarters of 2018 but I was forced to sit and watch ((

 

Bought my first truck in March (2019) (logtruck) grossed about 86,000, and netted about 45,000) includes a rebuilt head on a cat 3406e. In 2018 I made 60,000 as a driver so this year I had to make drastic measures to my living expenses but I wouldn't change it one bit. Something about being your own boss makes it worth cutting cost a little bit.
I was getting a little worried first of December but now I have work lined up till breakup in spring so that makes my winter look a lot better!
