The New FFE Driver Academey

What the school does is get u a cdl at a fast pace if u have a hard time with anything they send u home. Most of the people I know leave Ffe after there one year is up just ask playmaker or spat that both left but a one time loved Ffe but found out the truth after have time on the road some of the people at Ffe r good people but in brake down like u to run sometime over 100 miles with a flat tire headlight out just to save a few buck I have had it happen to me if u r starting out and can put up with the bs then go for it just remember thay r not the only truck driving school out ther they r not the best or the worst. I have been with them 4 Over 2 years and I have had my ups and down. I'm not saying that in anyway u should or shouldn't give them the time of day all saying is protect yourself and your CDL becouse Ffe will not

 

I heard that you can't get a CDL thru FFE's driving academy unless you are a Texas resident (someTexas law). Is that true?

 

Sam hell one week it's yes and the next week it's no Ffe has been fighting this for a few months now just call 214 630 8090 and ask

i dont like the idea of the 1 year committment! yet i understand its a trade off. As i have my license i have the skills just some practice and learning more will always be helpful and might just keep me safer too. After training all ya can do there is OTR solo, it would be better to team. I would like to team frankly, a 2nd set of eyes and a partner might be cool i know it good money. Im looking at US express, wud team with em, .48 split the highest i found in the industry, PAM wud pay .36 split., US express doesnt need a refresher and PAM give us a 3 days in the yard after orientation to do/learn more about manuvers , backing up, 45s, blind and passenger side parking etc.,

How was FFE for this stuff? Are u finished the course and on the road? i will be getting me an internet modem for my pc so i can be connected on the road. to pay bills and what not....unlike u i dont have young kids, mine are grown up and im divorce.. Im simply bored here eehehehehehhh....

Hello again. I am back near Dallas and I have access to a computer for a minute. Today I go out with my third trainer. I have had no issues with FFE itself, but the OTR trainers have been a different story. I talked with my new trainer for awhile today and he seems pretty laid back and willing to train. I hope things go well. I want to get this over with and get my own truck.

So far I have picked up and dropped off loads in San Antonio, Houston, Mississippi, Illinois, Kansas and California. Today I will be going back to Illlinois. Once that is done we will go out to California again.

With the right trainer, the OTR trainer could go by pretty quickly and be alot of fun. So far, I have not had the right trainer. I'm hoping that changes today.
