Mine was overcharged, causing excessive pressure in the high side, in very high ambient temperatures.

I have a 2010 freightliner an my apu keep throwing code eng9 anytime I try to turn it on any idea of what that may be? I hit the switch under the bunk for the apu to reset. The apu trys to turn over 3 times for 30 seconds before it throws the code eng9 the engine has good oil hopefully this thread isn't dead

Sounds like it's lost prime or the fuel filter is stopped up.
I have a older tripac and it's a pain to prime.

Pour the fuel out of the old one into a plastic cup, to make sure there's no water in it, then pour into new filter. It took 3 tries last time I replaced mine.

Ok I'll try in the morning it acts like it wants to crank but just can't get going, an now when I press the reset button I'm getting no click feedback an the board keep saying en9 an its not even trying to start now but I'm going to try to prime it first then if that doesn't work check to see if water is in the fuel

I'd bet if you see any smoke at all it's the filter.

Is their a primer on the apu or would my best bet be to check for water in the fuel it has fresh fuel in the truck seeing how I just got the truck but they stated that it may an may not work so I took the chance in getting the truck seeing how it may be a easy fix an seeing how it will come in handy

I'm not getting no smoke at all coming from the apu seeing how it trys to start it cranks cranks cranks an then throw the en9 code so it hasn't even gotten to the point where it cranks up for any amount of time for me to see any smoke

Maybe just pull the fuel filter and see if it has fuel, or is growing with algae.
