Any of you subscribe to the Gold? I’m looking for an alternative to a dash mounted GPS, to aid my road atlas and general knowledge of direction.

I have the navigation on the Peoplenet powered by CoPilot, and that is really horrible - therefore I will not be downloading the CoPilot app and paying a subscription.

I downloaded the TruckMap app, but have not tried it, since it doesn’t have an iPad version.

Then there is SmartTruckRoute - and the reviews are horrendous on that.

love my Garmin Dezl, but I’m looking to go away from dash mounted GPS that only does GPS. I can not find many reviews on the Gold Membership with Trucker Path. I know they’re trying to draw in advertisers, so I’d think they need to stay up to date - and offer a good product.

I thought Copilot was pretty good also. You can or need to adjust the speed limit routing if you can. You can go into settings or routing and tell Copilot to never use road that at 10MPH or never use roads that at 25MPH. It keeps Copilot from routing thru downtown city's. It still not prefect on getting the correct street address location it off by some. I lookk on Google maps and find truck entrance. Then I tell Copilot to rout to that spot. Because you can pick spot on map yourself and you can pick roads you want it to go on.

I never tried Trucker Path. Seem like all the GPS have their problems for truck routing.

Maybe it’s just peoplenet version of CoPilot?
It seems to be way off. I use it with no route just see something on the peoplenet screen, plus it will give the speed limit that I’m in.

Google maps works probably the best. Plus it gives you up to date traffic info. Including speed traps by LEO. And you can contribute to the location of LEO aswell. Ofcourse you have to use common sense when useing.

    Rix43 and TruckerPete1990 Thank this.

Yeah best options they added. I've saved myself so much time with the live traffic data.

    Rix43 Thanks this.
