What would be best option :
1.replace it with one for tanker people use ( its bit higher )
2.make some kind of block plate , etc ...i have seen another person did it
I had shop installed half fenders for me and i am bit worried not to damage it with my trailer , my friend said that its about 4 inches between fenders and trailer ( visually ) . He said i should be good on flat road , but since i dont pull dedicated loads - you never know and dont feel like taking my chances .
My other concern is overall height ...but once i didn't pay attention and got under 13'4" without any damage in Chicago pulling my conestoga . Tractor in PA and i am going to pick it up Wednesday , not sure wheather to modify it or leave it alone and figure it out when i bring it back to chicago and hook my trailer , ...i wish i knew cause the guy in PA does good work .
    ...rear fairings not installed yet

Do you know what the 5th wheel height is now? I would take a load and scale it. Is it sliding fifth wheel? If it's too low you will have a little more weight up front. Run taller rubber, kidding???? Yes they make blocks. They have to be real real ones, don't wing the risers. Tankers?

Nice ride . If it has a shallow pin setting you probably have more than enough clearance

Yeah I figured it out after re reading it. I know like jack knifing on a job site to make a drop on uneven ground causing the trailer to turn to tilt too much. That's it you have to become a reefer driver. They do make risers. I didn't put any on my truck when I ran tankers.

If your going to do tanks the higher the 5th wheel the better......... you don’t want a 45-47” 5th wheel height
