    Yeah, I don't get why being in the breakdown lane is any different than being parked on the side of the road. If you are driving down the road, you do not leave your lane unless it's safe.

    I hope the driver was legitimately broke down because her lawyers will argue that the trucker would not have been there, indeed, should not have been there at all if he was not broke down.

    She was held accountable for her bad driving for sure. Too bad her kids have to pay for it too, though. That's sad.

    Driver was a 62 y/o male, the deceased, a 62 year old female, was the front seat passenger. The kids in the back seat were 3 and 6 months old. If I had to guess Grandpa killed grandma and endangered the grandkids.
