any input would be helpful.i am a company driver and im having trouble finding any info on this subject.my girlfriend rides with me and she has legal script from her doctor for vicodin.for chronic neck pain that she needs mulitle times daily.but we are unsure if its ok to ride with this in truck without getting in trouble by d.o.t?? and does anyone know if the scanners we drive thru at scale houses can picup narcodic drugs in cab of tractor?? thank you for any info you casn give me...god bless!

I don't think it would be a problem. Keep her meds in their RX bottles to prove they are hers. No different than you having your Rx meds.

As long as the meds are kept in the med bottle, the bottled is properly labeled, and it hasn't Rx hasn't expired, then there isn't a thing in the world they can say or do.

Another important point, make sure there are no more pills in the bottle than is on the prescription. In other words, don't combine 2 bottles into 1 bottle, just to save space. If the bottle prescription says 20 pills, you're in big trouble if there are 21 or more.
