Hey guys, just thought I would check in with you all. It has been a while but mostly because I have been staying pretty busy.
Jim, Sewerman and all the others that I can't remember it seems you guys are getting along well with Maverick. To all the new guys just want to say good luck and hang in there..
I am over at Enterprise Transportation now pulling tankers (Yes, Hazmat..Explosives, Flammables, Caustics etc.) and so far I have to say I am pretty happy. Just to re-cap a little.
I left Maverick after I let someone talk me into a "better" job and it did not work out. Just about went broke. Got a speeding ticket in my personal vehicle along with a seatbelt violation..that's a story for another day....Called Maverick to come back but they couldn't do it because of the ticket(s).
So just a warning to all the new guys..hang in there.Maverick is an excellent company. Just because it looks better on the other side of the fence doesn't mean it is. Other companies may offer better benefits, but less pay or vice versa..but Maverick is the best all around company I have worked for.
Be safe out there!
Dave

I believe that the 72 hour harassment starts this week. Make sure you know where your medical card is. I pulled out two old ones last night before I put my hands on the correct one. Get it together before you head out this week...do not be one of the ones that get nailed!
jxu417, plentygood and Evil_E Thank this. -

I hope things are working out for you. don't be such a stranger you can tell us all about your tankers stories and how you get to play with your hose all day LOL -
Does anyone know if we can call extended services on Sunday and get a load for Monday morning. I've been sent home empty more than I would like lately and it would be nice to know what time I should head to the truck in the morning. Usually I just head over to the truck and tell them I am ready for a load, then I end up sitting there for a couple hours.
