100% normal in my opinion. Keep up the good work. And making money for the crooked truck owner.
Is this normal? Living in truck, no parking, no truck stops.

I don't mind the work at all. This thread is about the situation in L.A.. If you insist upon a GET TO MY LEVEL OR GTFO attitude, kindly suggest you don't respond further.TripleSix, x1Heavy and driverdriver Thank this. -
The people are really cool and are extremely busy, I understand they're not running a hotel or even a truck stop. I can see myself using it while making an occasional drop and would be thankful it's there since there's nowhere else, but living in it for weeks or even months on end is another matter entirely. -
Your comment is one of the first I've seen about Schneider resources out here. Even my dbl said that my situation was a catch 22 ...send drivers out here while closing facilities. -
Its the kinda place that trailers get double and triple stacked.
I've gone there to pick relays.
This is especially true at night.
Just so ya know its a lucky day if you can find a place to park.bobthurman Thanks this. -
Double and tripled as in long ways in front of a row of other trlrs, lol.

There is a old common word from dispatcher before the cell phone or internet days. Sometimes a snarl or snag ruined a situation temporarly and the only thing to do is...
"Camp out" where you are. That means your tractor trailer is your home, castle, playground, resting grounds etc. As long you have fuel, food, water, heat, cooling, clothing and entertainment etc all is well. -
x1Heavy Thanks this.

We had comcast in baltimore during the first gulf war watching scuds fall into israel live 24/7 being intercepted by patriots.
It was about 70 dollars a month in those days which would have been a pretty penny in today's money.
