    I agree with that statement, but will add that there is a terrible shortage of police officers, espeacially in my area. The bullitin boards in police stations accross the country have advertisements for police officers in New Mexico. The problem is, in small communities they cant afford big salaries, so they are tempted to lower their standards to some degree to get enough personell. Though, you would think the other officers would have noticed that he had a screw loose and reported it.

    This unfortunately is very true. I was married to a very crazy guy with a badge and a gun. I met more crazy people that he worked with. 9 years later I still am very distrustful of law enforcement. Too many of them go on crazy power trips and hide behind their badges and guns.

    Heres an interesting update. Seems the shooter shot himself from under the chin up twice, then finished with a shot from the side of the skull. Gonna be a closed casket for this guy.
