I have'nt figured out how to edit the title on this prior thread, so I'll link it and ask new questions.
Per the pictures in the prior thread, the charge ports are both large. It was said that I can recover and recharge through one port, however before I tried that, I found a second high side manifold hose. So I now have gauges on both high and low pressure lines.
Pulled it down and let it sit an hour, no loss of vacuum so pulled another 30 minutes and then went to charge the system. I maybe got .5lb if that in, and it wont take any more. Gauges say pressure is equalized even when compressor is running per the attached picture. Initially I did get the low gauge to drop when pulling from the can for a few seconds. Then nothing.
The high side line gets hot, but the cold side only gets to ambient or a few degrees cooler. The compressor does not cycle off, but only ambient air temps in the sleeper. Any further ideas would be appreciated.
Paccar smart air AC update and more questions.

If the hub in the center of the clutch is spinning that would normally indicate a bad compressor.
I did get messed up with gauge problems before. Some of those service connectors can be touchy on some fittings. The hose check valves can give problems at times. I have seen the other end close off as the rubber seal in the end of the hose closed up when fully tightened by hand. Double check flow through those before jumping and buying a compressor.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
