Hey there coonass,I didnt ask you a #### thing. I am merely stating facts in relation to your dreaming attitudes. I stated that you could throw the package in a compact car and make money. You come along with a Billy Big Rigger attitude, that we dont use compact cars. Well great for you,if you use your Billy Big Rigger out fit to haul 15 lbs. you sure aint too btight.

Looks like you asked a ?????????

Ain't no "billy big rigger" attitude:biggrin_25512: , you asked a question of how much would "you guys charge for this type of situation"(your words to be exact.

As for stating facts the facts are I called an got a quote of what we would charge you to deliver your package in a "hot shot" (pickup truck) not a big rig.

You yourself said in another thread by you that you thought the price you got was cheap, now you are calling us dreamers. Come on get real:biggrin_25526

Our hot shot pickups are getting paid around $600 maybe more to run from Lafayette, La to Venice, La. You are only getting $800 to come all the way from Tulsa, Ok to Venice, La for only $800 so you keep running your cheap freight (since you know better being that you WERE an O/O) and let us keep dreaming.

As for me I just ran a load 200miles for around $1500 oh wait I must have been dreaming.:biggrin_25518::biggrin_25520::yes2557:

For one thing expediters don't do round trips . They wait in the area for another load . So $800 for a 750 mile trip is right in line with the rates for a cargo van . They are now hauling many loads for less .
For those asking about numbers and authority , vehicles not over 10,000 lbs.GVWR are not subject to FMCSR and do not require authority unless hauling hazmat requiring placarding .
