Road Rage on Dash Cam

Years ago (probably '83 or '84, given where I was working at the time), I was driving down Santa Monica Blvd. in Beverly Hills. Three lanes each way, heavy traffic, and I'm in the middle lane. I see in my rearview mirror that a car has changed lanes in front of another vehicle in a pretty tight fashion. The passer ends up next to me to my right, and we're stopped for a red light. Suddenly, the guy behind him (the "victim" of the cut-off) exits his car, runs up to this guy next to me, and just starts pounding both fists on the driver's window. For about three seconds.

All of a sudden, the pounder goes screaming off toward the curb and the nearest building, and the "poundee" exits his vehicle....with a very large gun, like Clint-Eastwood large.

"####", I say....

As I left, the "pounder" was on his knees, showing every type of ID (I'm guessing) he had available. Turns out the "poundee" was an undercover cop, or at least based upon the equipment I saw in his car when his door was open....

 

Engine on, brain off.

 

Now that's a good story. For a minute there I thought you were going to tell us the "poundee" got out of his car, pulled out a Glock, then emptied it into the "pounders" head. Now that would have been a great ending to a road rage story. Just sayin.

Just because I tend to distrust what the media presents me:

I wonder if that huge dent on "black T-Shirt guy's" car *might* have been caused my Mr. "I'm a safer driver then every one, and I use edited dash cam footage to prove it".?

Or maybe the guy in the black shirt is just an ######.
