People would train in manual and take an autimatic for road test for tractor trailer license here even

Another thing Quebec does different from the rest of the country. I checked and we're the only ones requiring the manual endorsement.

    Quebec does everything backwards.

On the other hand there is such a thing as a restricted A License

    AZ Tractor trailer with airbrakes
DZ Straight trucks with air brakes

Restricted AZ.... Pickup or something similar hauling a motorhome

I think this was the case before here as well, I just dont remember. so I think they changed it. With alot of trucks being automatic now, I think the idea is to eliminate the old trucks...kinda off like they did with old cars....you dont see old cars on the roads in ontario anymote....t

Hey didn’t want to start a new thread but had a couple questions.. I was hired for a roll off driver with no experience and just want to know what to expect. The trucks are all fairly new they run a galbreath cable hoist, they have auto tarpers, in cab controls. Most work is in the Washington DC area just looking for what to expect pros and cons of being a roll off driver and how easy is it to get use to the controls
